Och tv\u00e5 \u00e5r senare \u00e4r det fortfarande hela havet stormar. Hamnarna i Shanghai k\u00e4mpar med nya pandeminedst\u00e4ngningar och Ryssland invaderar Ukraina. Att betala n\u00e4stan tio g\u00e5nger s\u00e5 mycket f\u00f6r en fraktcontainer har blivit det nya normala.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ganska snabbt stod det klart att v\u00e5rt sekels tjugotal skulle bli allt annat \u00e4n glatt. Februari 2020 st\u00e4ngde Kina ner medan pandemin spred sig fr\u00e5n land till land. Vi b\u00f6rjade jobba hemifr\u00e5n och slutade g\u00e5 p\u00e5 restaurang. Att resa utomlands var om\u00f6jligt. S\u00e5 medan v\u00e4rlden bokstavligen stannade av reducerade rederierna sin kapacitet. Men v\u00e5ren 2020 h\u00e4nde n\u00e5got som skulle bli starten p\u00e5 det containerkaos som fortfarande, tv\u00e5 \u00e5r senare, dominerar hela sj\u00f6fraktsbranschen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Containerkrisen ett faktum<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f6r n\u00e4r den globala efterfr\u00e5gan exploderade p\u00e5 grund av \u00f6kad efterfr\u00e5gan, fanns det helt pl\u00f6tsligt inga containrar lediga. De satt fast i hamnar eller k\u00f6ade f\u00f6r att lastas av. Samtidigt upph\u00f6rde nyproduktionen av containrar n\u00e4stan helt under de f\u00f6rsta fem m\u00e5naderna av 2020, enligt Bloomberg. Och s\u00e5 en \u00f6kad smittspridning bland hamnarbetare, chauff\u00f6rer och lagerarbetare med nedst\u00e4ngningar som f\u00f6ljd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Som bekant \u00e4r det tillg\u00e5ng och efterfr\u00e5gan som avg\u00f6r vad man i slut\u00e4ndan f\u00e5r betala. Och n\u00e4r containerbristen blev ett faktum sk\u00f6t priserna i h\u00f6jden. Under tredje kvartalet 2020 steg priset p\u00e5 en container fr\u00e5n cirka 2 000 dollar till 16 000 dollar. Transportk\u00f6pare fick med andra ord gr\u00e4va djupt i pl\u00e5nb\u00f6ckerna f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 tag i en container \u2013 men inte ens det var n\u00e5gon garanti. F\u00f6r det fanns alltid de som var beredda att betala mer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De senaste tv\u00e5 \u00e5ren har det skrivits spaltmeter om containerkrisen. Men hur ser det ut idag? F\u00f6r n\u00e4r restriktionerna b\u00f6rjade l\u00e4tta och allt \u00e5tergick s\u00e5 sm\u00e5tt till det normala i b\u00f6rjan av 2022, kom n\u00e4sta tragedi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Alla transporter till Ryssland upph\u00f6rde<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4r Ukraina invaderades stoppade de flesta stora akt\u00f6rer snabbt containertransporterna till och fr\u00e5n Ryssland. De fartyg som redan var fullastade och p\u00e5 v\u00e4g till Ryssland fick f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka hitta nya godsk\u00f6pare och omdirigeras. Men det var inte helt l\u00e4tt, d\u00e5 m\u00e5nga containrar l\u00e4mpats av i olika hamnar i v\u00e4ntan p\u00e5 en l\u00f6sning. Det sp\u00e4dde\u00a0p\u00e5 en redan anstr\u00e4ngd situation och ledde till ytterligare f\u00f6rseningar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ukrainakriget p\u00e5verkar dock inte den globala sj\u00f6frakten i sig. Visst, laster som skulle till S:t Petersburg men st\u00e4lldes av i europeiska hamnar p\u00e5verkade en redan anstr\u00e4ngd situation. \u00c5 andra sidan har bara runt fyra procent av Asienimporten Ryssland som&nbsp;slutdestination. D\u00e4remot gjorde kriget att tillg\u00e5ngen p\u00e5 tomma containrar minskade markant eftersom hamnen i S:t Petersburg \u00e4r en stor dep\u00e5 f\u00f6r just tomma containrar. Det har f\u00e5tt konsekvenser f\u00f6r viktiga svenska hamnar som till exempel G\u00e4vle och Norrk\u00f6ping. Samtidigt har nya m\u00f6jligheter \u00f6ppnats d\u00e5 fartyg som tidigare anv\u00e4nts fr\u00e5n S:t Petersburg satts in p\u00e5 nya rutter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>B\u00e4ttre infrastruktur<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Containerbristen \u00e4r fortfarande ett faktum. Fast det \u00e4r inte fullt s\u00e5 illa som under pandemin. De kinesiska hamnarna har f\u00e5tt b\u00e4ttre infrastruktur med ett mer v\u00e4loljat system. Nu \u00e4r det Europa och USA som har problem. Europa har det tuffast f\u00f6r att vi inte f\u00e5tt snurr p\u00e5 v\u00e5r infrastruktur i hamnarna lika snabbt och bra som Kina. Rent praktiskt betyder det att Kina klarar av att skicka iv\u00e4g sju fartyg som vardera \u00e4r lastade med 20 000 containers, medan v\u00e5ra svenska hamnar klarar av att ta emot fem s\u00e5dana fartyg. Det kr\u00e4vs ingen matematikprofessor f\u00f6r att r\u00e4kna ut att ekvationen inte g\u00e5r ihop. Samtidigt har containerdep\u00e5erna fyllts p\u00e5 tack vare att gods skickat fr\u00e5n Kina i februari 2022 ankommit v\u00e5ra europeiska hamnar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under v\u00e5ren har Shanghai haft nya nedst\u00e4ngningar p\u00e5 grund av nya coronautbrott. Det p\u00e5verkar sj\u00f6frakten. Att skicka vanligt gods funkar fortfarande s\u00e5 l\u00e4nge det kan tas emot av mottagaren. Ofta \u00e4r det d\u00e4r problemet ligger: att landtransporterna kan ta&nbsp;hand om godset n\u00e4r det v\u00e4l ankommer. Eller att leverant\u00f6rer f\u00e5 ut godset till hamnarna. St\u00f6rst problem har de som skickar farligt gods och kylcontainers. Shanghais terminal f\u00f6r farligt gods \u00e4r tv\u00e4rfullt och alla el-platser f\u00f6r kylcontainers \u00e4r upptagna. En del gods har skickats till andra hamnar, till exempel Singapore och Sydkorea. Men det \u00e4r oerh\u00f6rt kostsamt. En kostnad fraktbetalaren f\u00e5r ta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fortsatt anstr\u00e4ngt<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ja, situationen f\u00f6r v\u00e4rldens alla hamnar \u00e4r fortsatt anstr\u00e4ngd med historiskt l\u00e5g tillf\u00f6rlitlighet. Hela 80 procent av fartygen \u00e4r f\u00f6rsenade. Idag \u00e4r det inte ovanligt med f\u00f6rseningar p\u00e5 upp till en m\u00e5nad. Det har lett till att USA flyttat vissa av sina ink\u00f6p fr\u00e5n Asien till Europa. Vi ser en viss \u00e5terflyttning av delar av produktionen, men det kommer ta tid innan det sker i st\u00f6rre skala. Det \u00e4r sv\u00e5rt att konkurrera med Kina n\u00e4r det kommer till pris, kvalitet och produktionseffektivitet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Vad tror vi om den n\u00e4rmsta framtiden?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Konsumtionsm\u00f6nstret kommer antagligen f\u00f6r\u00e4ndras. Det har det f\u00f6rresten redan gjort, till viss del. Folk \u00e4r mer f\u00f6rsiktiga med att g\u00f6ra st\u00f6rre ink\u00f6p p\u00e5 grund av v\u00e4rldsl\u00e4get. Detsamma g\u00e4ller m\u00e5nga f\u00f6retag som till exempel slutat ta hem vissa varor eftersom det \u00e4r s\u00e5 dyrt att frakta. M\u00e5nga har dessutom fyllt p\u00e5 sina lager. S\u00e5 nu sitter vi h\u00e4r och avvaktar.
